Clavos offers two types of masonry nails for cement buildings: Common Steel Wire Nails and Cut Masonry Nails.

Hardened Steel Cut Masonry Nais are designed with blunt points and tapered shanks, used for fastening wood and hardwood materials to hinder block, mortar joints, brick walls, stone, or reinforced concrete. Materials for cut masonry nails are mostly hardened steel. Wire Masonry Nails have high surface hardness and good toughness in general brick and cement building (roofing, flooring, walls structure) uses. Made of stainless steel or zinc plated galvanized steel with good anti corrosion and anti craking properties. The Header Punch design permits production of special wire nails for masonry or concrete constructions, like D head nails, Larger Head (clout) nails.supplied in loop coil nails and bulk nails package.

Nails Accessories: Cut masonry nails are supplied commonly with safety glasses for safe operation. Wire masonry nails are supplied mostly in coiled nails forms, fasteners with washers usually.

In general, Cut masonry nails can cause minimal spalling and splitting during penetration and offer even greater pull-out resistance than wire masonry nails. 3/4'' penetration is recommended for satisfactory holding power. Wire masonry nails have more options of head and shank types to meet specific material construction applications.
